Within the past few days I’ve decided to extend my 2020 goals:
Go for a walk for at least 30 minutes every day
I work in an office and thus I’m sat a desk about 8,5 hours per day. I’ve noticed that this is starting to affect my mental health this winter. Therefore, I’ve decided that making myself enjoy a bit of time outside is probably going to make things a bit better. I’ve enjoyed it thus far and even turned my walks into a bit of power walking – it feels nice to get a little exercise in as well.
Do Pilates three times per week
I’ve enjoyed Pilates in the past and I like that you can get a bit of exercise in at home whenever you feel like it. I’ve decided to go for three times per week as I don’t want to set up myself for failure – which probably would lead me to give up this goals altogether.
Read 24 books in 2020
I had the same goal in 2019 – and didn’t reach it. I was doing really good for a while but then I got to distracted by the likes of Tumblr, Instagram, Netflix, Amazon Prime and even old-fashioned tv. I love reading though and decided to give reading 24 books another shot. I’m keeping track of my reading goal with my goodreads Account: https://www.goodreads.com/anjas_bibliothek
Lots of love,
First of all, welcome to my blog.
I have often tried to start a blog but my own perfectionism always made me fail. This time around I caught myself thinking „oh, let’s start on January 1st“. The problem with that: I work full time and I’m back to work on January 2nd. That’s why I decided this morning to start right away.
These past days I was very inspired by Jonna Jinton and I binge watched lots of her videos. I urge you to check out her channel on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/JonnaJinton/ She lives in the Swedish countryside and radiates positivity.
I’m not sure what my blog will feature, but I’m sure it will something along the lines of reading, travel and nature.
I’m normally not someone who sets up goals for the following year, but I figured I’d give it a shot this time around:
I had Swedish lessons during my uni years but unfortunately, I don’t remember much besides Hej and Tack. As I’m traveling to Sweden next summer, I’ve decided to try to get into Swedish again. I’ve already dug out my Swedish books – I have no excuses not do go for it!
I want to try to blog throughout all of next year. To hold myself accountable, I figured it would be good to set blogging up as a goal.
I’m not sure anybody will read this, but if you did make it this far: Thank you!
Lots of love,
